How to make a quote

  1. Add both parties

Enter your business details and your customer's. Tick the box to remember your own details on this device.

  2. List what you offer

Enter each item with quantity, unit price and tax rate, add a discount if you give one, and write your terms.

  3. Set the validity and save

Check the Valid until date, then print the quote or save it as PDF from the print dialog.

A quote your customer can accept

Every quote shows how long the prices are valid and ends with an acceptance block for name, signature and date, so your customer can sign it and send it back.

From quote to invoice

The Invoice Generator uses the same layout and fields. If you tick Remember my company details, they carry over to it, so once the quote is accepted you only enter the items again.

Frequently asked questions

How long should a quote be valid?

Often 14 to 30 days, but it's up to you. Prices that depend on materials or exchange rates call for a shorter period. The date is set to 30 days from today; change it as needed.

Where is my data stored?

Only in this browser tab; nothing is sent to a server. If you tick Remember my company details, your business details and currency are kept in this browser's local storage on this device, and unticking the box deletes them.

Can I add my own terms?

Yes. Use the Terms box for payment terms, delivery times or anything else; it prints below the totals.
