How to make business cards

  1. Enter your details

Add your name, job title, company and the contact details for the card.

  2. Choose layout, size and colours

Pick Classic, Centred or Band, the 85 × 55 mm or 3.5 × 2 in size, and colours that suit your brand.

  3. Print and cut

Print the sheet at 100% scale on heavy paper and cut along the crop marks, or download a PNG at 300 dpi for a print shop.

Print at actual size

The sheet is laid out to the millimetre. In the print dialog, set the scale to 100% or Actual size and turn off Fit to page, otherwise the cards come out smaller than planned and miss the crop marks.

Card sizes

85 × 55 mm is the usual size in most of Europe, and 3.5 × 2 in is the standard in the United States and Canada. Ten cards fit on one A4 or US Letter sheet, in two columns of five.

Frequently asked questions

What paper should I use?

Card stock of about 250 to 350 g/m² gives cards a solid feel. Check the heaviest paper your printer accepts before you print.

Can I add a back side or a logo?

Not yet; the maker designs the front of the card. For a logo or a two-sided card, download the PNG and finish it in a design tool, or take it to a print shop.

Is my information uploaded?

No. The card is drawn in your browser.
