Where the words come from
Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin from Cicero's “De finibus bonorum et malorum” (45 BC). The words here come from that classic passage. The same settings always give the same text, so a mock-up doesn't change between reloads.

Can I get text in my own language?
No. Lorem ipsum is always pseudo-Latin. For a realistic test in another language, use a real text of similar length.
