Conversion that knows your language
Case rules differ between languages: in Turkish, i becomes İ and I becomes ı. The converter follows the rules of the language this page is shown in.
Cases for code
camelCase and PascalCase join words and capitalise each one, snake_case and CONSTANT_CASE join them with underscores, and kebab-case uses hyphens. Accented letters are kept, so check whether your code needs plain ASCII.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between title case and sentence case?
Title case capitalises the first letter of every word. Sentence case capitalises only the first letter of each sentence and puts the rest in lower case.
Do names stay capitalised in sentence case?
No. Sentence case lowercases every word except the first in each sentence, so check names and abbreviations afterwards.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. Conversion happens in your browser.
