Your file is laid out on this device and the PDF is made by your browser's print dialog. Nothing is uploaded.
How to convert PowerPoint to PDF
Open the presentation
Drop a .pptx file onto the area above or choose it. The slides appear in the preview.
Check the slides
Hidden slides are left out, as in a slide show, unless you include them.
Save as PDF
Press Save as PDF. In the print dialog, choose Save as PDF as the printer and save the file.
What's kept
The slide size and backgrounds, text with its fonts, sizes, colours, bullets and alignment, pictures (with their cropping), rectangles, rounded rectangles, ellipses and lines, tables and grouped shapes, including what the slide master and layout add. Charts, SmartArt, video, animations, shadows and other effects are not drawn; charts and diagrams are marked with an empty frame.
Fonts
Text is set with the fonts installed on your device. When a font from the presentation is missing, a similar one is used, so lines can break a little differently than in PowerPoint.
Frequently asked questions
Is my presentation uploaded?
No. The slides are drawn in your browser, and the PDF is made by your browser's print dialog on your device.
Why does a slide look different from PowerPoint?
Charts, SmartArt, special effects and unusual shapes aren't drawn, and missing fonts are replaced. For an exact copy, export to PDF from PowerPoint or Keynote itself.
Can I convert .ppt files?
Only .pptx. Open an older .ppt file in PowerPoint, Keynote or LibreOffice and save it as .pptx first.
