How to convert PDF to JPG

  1. Open your PDF

Drop the file above or choose it. Type a page range if you only need some pages.

  2. Choose size and format

150 DPI suits screens, 300 DPI suits printing. JPG makes small files; PNG keeps text perfectly crisp.

  3. Convert and download

Press Convert to images, then download single pages or all of them as a ZIP.

Which resolution to choose

DPI sets how many pixels each inch of the page gets. An A4 page is about 600 × 840 pixels at 72 DPI, about 1,240 × 1,750 at 150 DPI and about 2,480 × 3,510 at 300 DPI. Higher means sharper images and bigger files.

JPG or PNG

JPG is best for pages with photos and keeps files small; the quality slider trades size for detail. PNG is lossless, so text and line drawings stay sharp, but the files are larger.

Frequently asked questions

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The pages are drawn in your browser and saved as images on your device.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes. Type pages like 1-3, 5 in Pages. Leave it empty to convert every page.

Why is a very large page smaller than the DPI I chose?

Browsers limit how big an image can be drawn, so very large pages, such as posters and plans, are scaled down to about 16 megapixels.
